DYLAN JENKINSON

Dylan Jenkinson is a graduate of the Producers’ Lab at the Canadian Film Centre. He has worked his way up from the ground level, and has gained experience at all levels of production over his 25 year career.

At the beginning of his career Dylan served for several years as the Development Executive at Malibu-based Key Pix Productions, developing two very successful Disney DVD titles.

Dylan produced the award-winning short films Late and The Planting in collaboration with Jason Goode under their banner Jenkinson/Goode Productions. Thriller Numb marked Dylan’s debut as a feature film producer in 2015, and it went on to screen in Busan, Beijing and Shanghai, and was the Closing Gala at the Whistler Film Festival before being nominated for 12 Leo Awards, including Best Picture, the UBCP Award for Best Actor, and one Canadian Screen Award. It was distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment/Vision Films in the US, and is available in 45+ countries around the world.

Recently Dylan produced the branded content documentary series The Marriage Course, which shot on three continents, and the upcoming Lionsgate TV documentary series J&J. Over the course of his career Dylan has gained a wide body of knowledge in creative and story development, as well as management in development, production and distribution. Dylan is currently applying his creative skills to the a diverse slate of projects, and developing multiple documentary, feature film and scripted television projects.

JASON GOODE

JASON GOODE

Jason Goode’s feature directorial debut film, Numb, had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, before unspooling as the Closing Gala film at the Whistler Film Festival. After a successful theatrical release in Canada, it has been released in over 40 countries worldwide. The film successfully combined thrilling tension, character drama, and seamlessly rendered award-winning visual effects. Jason is widely known for directing award-winning performances.

Jason is director of five short films, including the award-winning comedy, The Hitchhiker. His short film Late was selected by Telefilm Canada for its Perspectives Canada program at the Cannes Marché du Film. Jason was also nominated for best director at the Vancouver Theatre Awards (“The Jessies”) for his production of John Patrick Shanley’s hilarious, hypnotic, and frightening love story, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.

As one half of Jenkinson/Goode Productions, Jason is currently developing numerous projects, including the workplace comedy series, Borderline, for CBC, the coming-of-age mystery series, Prison Boy, and feature films Past Present and Your Heart is the Size of Your Fist

Jason’s eclectic background includes a B.Sc. in Biology and an M.A. in Theological Studies. He lives in White Rock, B.C. Canada with his partner and three children.
