We’re super excited to announce that LATE will be screening at the Vancouver International Film Festival on Monday, Oct 8th and Tuesday, Oct 9th. This just one year after THE PLANTING screened at VIFF. We’re thrilled all over again. More details to come.
We are pleased to announce that The Planting will screen at the Mississauga Independent Film Festival as part of Short Program B on Saturday, July 28th at 4PM.
The Leo Awards were announced today and Ben Cotton was nominated for Best Performance in a Short Film for this role in THE PLANTING. I recognize that we’re slightly biased, but we thought this was a sure thing. Ben is spectacular in the film. Congrats, Ben!
The Planting will screen at Niagara Indie FilmFest on April 14, at 3PM and 7PM. Jason has his films screen there before, so we’re thrilled to be back!
THE PLANTING will have its Australian Premiere on Friday, March 31, 2012 at the Clare Valley Film Festival.
It’s a huge honour for all of us involved in the project. Clare Valley is a great festival, showing films from around the globe. (In fact, THE PLANTING is the only Canadian film there.)
Check out the screening line up here. Don’t know where Clare Valley is? It’s in South Australia.
LATE had its World Premiere at BIFF, alongside THE PLANTING, which also screened at the festival.
You can see LATE’s screening info here.
And info for THE PLANTING is here.

I’m very pleased to say that we locked picture on The Planting. Our editor, Greg Ng, did an amazing job (as usual). We are now working on a score and will soon have it sound mixed and colour corrected. If everything goes smoothly we may have it done within a month’s time.
I’d like to say another ‘Thank You’ to the cast and crew and everyone else who supported the project, in particular Rosie Perera, Jeff Benna and Nick Brampton.
